The Sixth Precinct Commander has, OFFICIALLY, been notified by the Town Director of Traffic Safety, of the traffic sign changes !
I'm wondering how long, it will be, before 856 ROUTE 25A, uses...OR "ABUSES"...the unspoken privileges, accorded these FLORIDA PBA LICENSE PLATES ????
This FORD EXPEDITION, below, has these "special" license plates, in a KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, license plate holder.
I HAVE THE LICENSE NUMBER !
I GUESS, THEY LIKE, TO COVER, ALL OF THE BASES !
This vehicle, is in the parking space, for, "VINCENT P. RICHARDSON ASSOCIATES".
THE NEIGHBORS AND MYSELF, ARE GOING TO BE WATCHING, CAREFULLY, "HOW" THESE GUYS, ARE COMPLYING WITH THE TRAFFIC LAW HERE.
USING PBA LICENSE PLATES, TO "TAMPER" WITH, THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, & the SUFFOLK COUNTY POLICE, IN DOING THEIR JOB, WAS BAD ENOUGH !
IN ADDITION, THIS PERSON, "USED" THE PLATES, TO "FEND OFF", TWO COMPLAINTS TO THE SUFFOLK COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT, ABOUT THE PARKING PROBLEM, CAUSED BY CARS, PATRONIZING 856 ROUTE 25A !
NOW WE KNOW, THAT THIS, is "how", they have gotten away, with this unsafe, PUBLIC SAFETY HAZZARD !
THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS NOW !
The neighbors are NOT going to be "shy", about "pushing" for compliance !
ALL THE WAY !

This is utterly ridiculous. First and foremost, the Florida PBA Plates have NOTHING to do with which you speak of. Nothing at all. Not that you should need any explaning, but apparently you seem to not know what you're talking about. Actually, it's clear you don't know what you're talking about. The owner of the office building used to be a Suffolk County Sheriff. That is the reason for the PBA plates. Not for "tamper" with the NYS Dept. of Transportation and the SCPD. Since when were retired sheriffs not allowed to posess a PBA Plate? Isn't that what they're for? So, the plates being a PBA plate have absolutely nothing to do with your accusations. I can sure see you know the meaning of respect to a former sheriff. Second, the "Knights of Columbus" sticker. Now, I'm confused. What is so wrong about that? Is it any worse than having a bumper sticker saying "My Dog is smarter than your honor roll student" or "I Love Porn"? I don't think so. The owner of the building is an Imperial Grand Night of Columbus. Excuse him for being a fellow good Christian man, unlike yourself. Once again, that has nothing to do with the parking, which is your main point, is it not? Not let's see, I see you neglected to talk about the Nursery (RICHARDS NURSERY) next store to the office building and about the strip mall on the other side of the office building. Now, I imagine you to be a community member, you would realize (I hope) that A) the strip mall next door has very little parking, and often park on the street. The same goes for the nursery. Mind you, these multiple business on each side of 856 Route 25A Office Building are open ALL YEAR LONG. Now, the 856 Route 25A building is open only four months out of the year, with only one month generating mass amounts of traffic. As far as "not being able to see oncoming traffic," PAY ATTENTION! I've been a client at that office for over 20 years, and have been there every year. You don't hear me complaining about not being able to see, do you? Learn how to look for cars. Driving is not supposed to be a 100% easy task. Also, bear in mind that there has NEVER been one accident due to the parked cars. So, I have a suggestion for you, instead of being a miserable person and trying to put the blame on the office building, which is only open seasonal, why not go to the other business next door that generate traffic yearly? Of course you wouldn't do that though. That would just be too easy. Like I said, I have been a client for over 20 years for that office, in which 10 of those years were at that location. Nothing ever happened. Stop complaining and get over it.
ReplyDeleteseriously, why are we worried about vehicles PARKED on 25a??? I am more concerned with the moving vehicles who go past our business at 70, 80 mph, although the sign posts the speed limit
ReplyDeleteat 45......!!!!! did you ever try to get out of a business anywhere along 25A with cars going that fast??????? Sure you have... Now lets concentrate on the real issue here and not singling out reputable businesses that bring
revenue to both the area, and for the people who work there....Sounds like a personal issue to me, why else would you be printing personal information... Grow up Mr. Wilcox!!!!

IN POINT OF FACT, 'the owner of the property' has used is POLITICAL PULL TO VIOLATE THE LAW ! IF they want to use their 'special status' of the Knights of Columbus, SAVE FOR, WHEN THEY GO THEIR MAKER, OR ON SUNDAY ! IT DOESN'T WASH ANYMORE...SO LIVE WITH IT !

ReplyDeleteWow, still no reply on the traffic being caused by THE OTHER BUSINESS! Sounds like a personal attack, such as SOMEONE singling people out?! Hmmmm interesting. Not to mention COULD THE PLOWS themselves knocked down the sign? Well, lets think long and hard about it because MANY PEOPLES FENCES were INDEED KNOCKED DOWN BY PLOWS! Look at the SNOW then NO SNOW pictures. ..and not for nothing but wheres the pics for proof SOME INDIVIDUAL took it down? Evidence please before you make such accusations. Just saying. ...more things to be concerned about in life!
